Volunteer Opportunities for High School Students
The Ontario Ministry of Education requires that each student complete 40 hours of volunteer activities in the community in order to earn their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Students can begin accumulating these hours as of July 1 after they finish grade 8.
At Arunodhaya we offer many volunteer opportunities where Arunodhaya students can earn community service hours for their high school diplomas. If you are interested in these opportunities please fill out the following information and one of our Administration staff will contact you.

The following volunteer opportunities are available to students who have completed Grade 8:
- Program MC for our Talent Night, Vijayadasami and Mothers & Daughters Tea Party ( 3-4 hours)
- Tech Team member for our Talent Night, Vijayadasami and Mothers & Daughters Tea Party ( 3-4 hours)
- Administration Team member for our Talent Night, Vijayadasami and Mothers & Daughters Tea Party ( 3-4 hours)
- Activities Coordinator for Diwali Arts & Crafts Night (3-4 hours)
- Teacher's assistant (1-2 hrs/week)
